I hold shares of both Lynas and ESG. In the battle for the Lynas Crown Deposit one of our most important resources was the Australian Shareholders Association.

Vas Kolesnikoff of the ASA met with Nicholas Curtis the chairman of Lynas on our behalf. He wrote an article for a newspaper on our behalf. He had an appointment to meet with the assistant director of ASIC on our behalf (this appointment unfortunately was canceled). The ASA was appointed as the representative to vote our NO votes at the "lowball sale" meeting. ASA can perform similar functions for ESG.

Most ESG shareholders are not experts in fighting a takeover battle, knowing ASIC rules and other important resources that are needed need to win our battle. The people at ASA deal with many of the issues we have on a regular basis and have far more expertise than we do. Unlike Santos and ESG we cannot afford to hire expensive management consultants. However what we can do is to join the ASA and to get their help in our battle.


What ESG shareholders need to do is to join the ASA if you are not already a member.
