    re: israeli soldier from aust killed in lebanon I tend to agree with Miles on this one.

    No doubt he held dual citizenship and as such was entitled to fight for the country of his citizenship, but that did not make him an Australian soldier..

    An Australian soldier in my books is a soldier in the Australian Army/Defence Forces....

    But hey.....which headline is going to get greater coverage?

    Typical.

    At least his dual citizenship isn't going to cost the Australian taxpayer.........

    Come to think of it, I haven't seen any dual citizenship Israeli/Australians who live in the towns under bombardment, expecting Australia to expatriate them at taxpayers expense...back to Australia.
