While I don't have a view as to where we go from here it's worth noting that although last night was the calendar anniversary of the '87 crash, the actual crash occurred on a Monday.
On the preceding Friday the Dow fell about 4%, leaving punters sweating over the weekend and setting up Mondays 22% decline/rout.
Last night the Dow fell 2.6% leaving punters sweating over the weekend........
Will history repeat? Probably not but it's best to keep an open mind and have a plan for whatever happens.
