everything needs to be read in context.

the US markets as is the Australian market were at all time highs.

the fall in the US while large is not a collapse as we saw in 1987

The US market has some serious fundamental issues,issues which of course will affect other markets but to a lesser degree.

There will be some wild selling on Monday but there are many stocks which are wildly overvalued and there are still stocks which are keenly valued even as late as Friday

I agree Monday/Tuesday will represent opportunities which otherwise would not have presented themselves BUT its not the end of the world.


Simply revisit the stocks you hold..........reconfirm why you invested in them and make decisions based on that.

Do not fall into the emotions of commentary of people on here or elsewhere.

Understand your own position and your holdings.

If you need to sell,sell......if you decide to hold....ignore what happens on Monday/Tuesday.
