Australian Story has a reputation of being the least well supervised and least professional part of the ABC current affairs division with some of the weakest researchers, so as an investor, and someone who knows the ABC, O would advise the WHC guys to line up some good lawyers for when this goes to air. My inside ABC sources tell me that the Australian Story team are reluctant to take advice from the ABC legal team so could be good news for the WHC lawyers!
