I watched the ABC's Australian Story (on IView) last night. It tells the love story of former soccer Matilda Rahli Dobson and her husband Matt Stonham's battle with a brain tumor. It's a very "Australian Story" telling of their love and support for and of each other which is very inspiring and uplifting, but it has a darkness - the presence of the tumor means Matt's health and their life together is under a cloud. Other than saying the tumor has progressed from Stage 2 to Stage 3, there is no further detail of the type of tumor eg glioblastoma or other. I have invested in this stock (apart from hope of potential returns) because it potentially provides a lifeline for those among us who unfortunately draw that short straw. It could be us, and I don't know how I would react if I were in Matt's position. I really do hope that this team can kick some goals and play a real part in saving lives.
