I have already experienced this problem on several occasions. I’ve wanted to buy and sell on the same day but members direct had been down. I have lost buying/ selling opportunities.
The problem is when you ring you are usually only speaking to a very young person on the phone who does not understand the implications of losses buying / selling opportunities. It’s very frustrating. They can never tell you when the system is going to be back out working again. it’s always a wait and see game. But what can you do? QSuper is the same, So I’m assuming that this problem must be across all the super funds.
I really don’t think anything is going to change and I really don’t think there’s too much we can do about it. Sadly, we all just have to wear it I think.
