I am very disappointed that Australia voted with Iran in the UN for a ceasefire in Gaza.
We should not side with Hamas which is a terrible terrorist organisation. We should back Israel and condemn Hamas's objective to wipe out the Jews. There is no moral equivalence between the two sides.
Just like WW2 the war shouldn't end until Hamas surrenders unconditionally or is obliterated.
When moral clarity is needed the ALP is playing uni student politics.
