@Marketinfo; every vaccine has what's referred to as 'efficacy' - in essence the expected ratio of people likely not to become infected despite having been vaccinated.
Recently I was vaccinated for shingles - the vaccine I had has a 60% efficacy so that I was advised I might still get shingles but its impact on me would be much less severe because of the level of immunity I developed from the vaccine.
Medicos are reporting that even in the real world Covid19 vaccines are proving to be very effective - greatly reducing the number of people infected and some with a 100% success rate at preventing serious health issues and death.
It follows that depending on the actual vaccine somewhere between 5% [Pfizer] and 40% [Sputnik] of people who have been vaccinated could contract C19 from unvaccinated and infected people.
Please note that I have never stated that everyone should be forced to get vaccinated - for some people there are medical reasons they cannot be vaccinated.
It's my view that those who choose not be vaccinated for self-indulgent reasons do not have the right to infect others and must expect to have restrictions placed on their irresponsible behaviour during pandemic outbreaks - banned from large public gatherings such as indoor concerts and footy matches for example and required to order online their food and retail goods for delivery rather than via in-person shopping.
