What a seriously stupid comment. The Poll was on the failure to do hazard reduction burns. Not on backburning. You backburn when there is no other option and whether their is drought or not is irrelevant. Hazard reduction makes backburning safer more effective and easier to control. Amazing 44% of people are too stupid to see this and are so out of touch with reality.
