Reality is the major climate science issues are settled and the world is rapidly reaching a political consensus. General agreements pricing fossil carbon pollution are likely over the next few years.
Building more coal mines and coal transport facilities is no longer a good idea. It never was a good idea but 40 years ago many of us were ignorant. Now only a minority of us are ignorant.
Building more coal burning power stations would be a really stupid idea. Bank finance would be tricky if not impossible unless a seriously stupid government was handing out guarantees.
