All the Government needs to do is introduce a new land tax and increased capital gains tax on any property not owned by Australian Citizens, and any property owned in a Company Name where the Shareholders of the company are not Australian Citizens. Not only will it take the sting out foreigners pushing up the prices, but it will also help plug the deficit left by Labor....and as non Citizens cannot vote, it will have no negative impact on the Electorate.....it might even make the Electorate happy if prices drop:)
