    people vote for a candidate
    people vote for a party
people vote - perhaps for the best looking woman
    or
for the person with an anglo name
    or donkey
    or someone they have met

there are many many reasons why people vote for who they do

it is pure arrogance to assume the motives of any voter just to suit you own political view

we have a secret ballot and everyone has the same right to vote for who they please and for whatever reason.

Rudd was not the popularly elect PM
    there is no such thing
we do not have a presidential system

any other interpretation is pure idiocy and an insult to your fellow australians

    it amy even be "un-australian"

who do non Lib and ALP people vote for?

remember - in no election has either party gained a majority of the primary votes.

    NOT ONCE

this "people voted for the leader" is pure spin and not supported by any evidence whatsoever.
