Yes, we really need to have a good look at what immigration strategies work - and look at the failures around the world too. It's obvious that as a general rule - Middle-Eastern migration is a disaster. African migration has been very problematic too. I've got no issues with Christians, Bahais, etc escaping Muslim violence in the Middle East - and a very limited number of those legitimate refugees coming here thru proper channels. I do have a problem with their persecutors arriving on boats or planes and bleeding taxpayers for no eventual benefit. I think our Chinese and Vietnamese intake could be toned down a bit too. Both great cultures, but a little heavy on numbers past couple decades. I'd like to see more examples of fine potential citizens encouraged. In general, Japanese, Koreans, Northern Europeans, Americans, Canadians. Anyway, I expect both major parties will never deal with this in a coherent planned fashion. That's why I'll always vote One Nation....They'll do the right thing for Australia's future.
