Young and old people have been taught that being gay doesn't mean you are a social pariah . More people are understanding the mental anguish gay people often go through to accept and come out about their sexuality. Young people are being taught that it is ok to be gay and that most people couldn't give a stuff what your sexual preference really is. And most importantly, people are being taught that being gay is not a choice. No sane person would choose such a tough life of being judged, discriminated against and having anxiety over people finding out you are gay.
Thankfully, our society has become a lot more accepting and understanding of homosexuality. How bloody sad is it that young kids kill themselves because they are afraid to have people find out they are gay. I am sure if they had the "choice" they would want to be "normal".
The "propaganda" you speak of is that kids are being taught that a person's sexual preference shouldn't matter. It is the character of the person that is important. You call it "propaganda". Most call it common sense, having a heart/sympathy and acceptance that we are all not wired the same.
