The irony of this whole protesting is that the greens are quite happy to use Tin in their everyday products and so are presumably happy to have Tin mined through the extremely eco unfriendly mines in Indonesia, but are not prepared to have Tin mined from far more Eco friendly sources in Australia.
Consequently every ton of Tin that is not mined in Australia under strict environmental regulations is mined in third world countries which have little or no care for the environment or the people who work in these mines. Therefore the greens end up supporting the very thing that they protest against.
But to realise this would require removing the blinkers.....
