The biggest mistake made in Australia by all governments is that for the last 15 years they all have been arguing between themselves about coal fired plants.
If they all could have agreed to build some new HELE plants they would have been up and running by now and up to 90% less emissions and then all the old ones would have been gone by now.
Then that would have taken us forward into the next 2 or 3 decades until all this other renewable stuff is sorted out.
