    No, natural gas is stripped of propane, butane, pentane, hexane so that the vast majority is methane (99.7% I believe is the required minimum of methane to enter most pipelines).

    CSG is just natural gas that happens to come from coal seams (and by virtue of that, has almost no hydrocarbons heavier than methane).

    LNG from coal seams competes directly with other sources of natural gas (e.g. Moomba). Of course, that means that LNG exporters who don't have enough gas from their CSG wells will be competing with local users for gas.

    This is where CTP etc hopefully come in and make us lots of money.
