Wage growth has been terrible for many years, agree.
I would also say the bankers have been taking a LOT of money (even with low interest rates), detracting from what's left to buy essentials.
What is disturbing is how the politicians jump to "defend the banks", not addressing the many woes they have put the whole world into with indebtedness..... the calls for bail-outs, bail ins blah blah...
Banks need to be regulated and controlled by the most honest of politicians...... banks, politicians, honesty.... hmmm, which seems to be the odd word out?
