@betterman; there are many possible reasons the UK's experiencing a net loss of millionaires:
. Too many years of incompetent, warmongering governance.
. Family ties in places like Australia - even some of my English friends moved their ageing parents to Australia.
. A population pyramid that has too few productive employees supporting too much unproductive nobility.
. The landed gentry is too lazy to work and therefore becoming poorer by the day as maintenance costs on their stately mansions sky-rocket and they degenerate into liabilities instead of assets.
. Australia has a lot to offer those arriving with $1Million +.

It's my view that anyone arriving in Australia without paying their fair share of tax in the country they're leaving should be made to pay their fair share of the that tax obligation in Australia.
