i wonder if we can mark down 44.5c as the low for the year after today's few sellers had what i would describe as a panic-attack ? mind you, all the gold producers are being sold off today by 2% - 5% it seems, yet at some point there will be a seller who picks the bottom - and good luck to them.

the news i read today was that Treasury secretary Tim Geithner acknowledged that the U.S.A. would default on its debt unless Congress raising the debt ceiling before March. surely the POG will react to that "fear" soon enough.
