Governmnts that borrow are generally ruined (outside of every major economy) Now I think about it, when I brought my house I owed money. I paid interest. Bad I guess. This was 9 years ago. Apparently my house has doubled in value. But you're right. I should never have borrowed. It's bad to owe. Wish I'd never bought. Debt = bad.

I'm with you though. Let's get this deficit down. The diesel subsidy is 5.5 billion annually. Let's get rid of that, it'll help stacks, and big business can know they've done their part.

This'll go surely yeah? BHP being subsidised with their profits? That would be outrageous to have that subsidised and then to introduce a fuel excise for the man in the street wouldn't it? No one would do that would they?
