The other issue that most people don't comprehend , I think someone just raised the issue of tax raising measures on companies ,is that as soon as you make companies less profitable you inflict a massive strain on private debt due to lower growth ,redundancies , and the multitude of undesirable lower growth opportunities that make companies think twice about spending any money.
The only way forward is by making Australia a very attractive place for anyone to do business ,but unfortunately the policies propulgated over the last few years ,and by the greens in particular ,send most companies scurrying to the other side of the world.
It's not a problem that will be solved anytime soon when we have a mixture of boomers who have made their money get concerned by how the air smells ,and the next lot coming through who have been brought up with an aura of entitlement.
