    I partly agree. other options that you seem to have missed are pumped hydro, offshore wind turbines (much more reliable wing 20km off-shore) and hydrogen replacing LNG for gas turbines.

    imo nuclear will be required eventually, but no need to rush into nuclear. more important to take time to assess all options equally and balance the grid using nuclear as the last resort for baseload due to the expensive cost.
