Nationals MP Keith Pitt has labelled renewables an “intermittentpower supply” which causes a “whole heap of problems”.
Renewablescurrently make up 35 per cent of Australia’s energy system.
“I’vealways been a great proponent of building stuff that works,” Mr Pitt told SkyNews Australia.
“What’sbeen proven over and over and over is if you have an intermittent power supply,then you’ll have an intermittent source of electricity which gives youintermittent use and causes a whole heap of problems.
