to be honest, i prefer the property market. there is nothing like bricks and mortar and I feel most real personal wealth has happened with wise property investment. Im sure if you look at the likes of Gerry Harvey, Solly Lew, Richard Pratt, Frank Lowey (Westfield), even though their shareholdings are huge, you will find the large proportion of their money is invested in property. Real money is made via property, and a long term view is needed. By property I am not talking inner city apartments, I am talking commercial on at least 6% return
