@DrStrangelove; the nature of human interactions means that there will always be differences in expectations, opinions, values etc between students, between staff, between staff and students and of course with parents and beyond.
Some of that leads to conflicts, most of which are resolved within schools without the need for heavy-handed interventions and is how we learn to be fully-functioning people.
Bullying, harassment, vilification and persecution equating to child abuse are what prompted governments to impose mandatory reporting requirements and police checks for people working with young people.
It's not for ignorant, self-serving, ideologically inspired and opinionated commentators like Andrew Bolt and Gerard Henderson to act as judge and jury on such matters.
