Hi jantimont, a good question. I believe many larger super funds (but not all) often ask where funds are going / why withdrawn but this would only give a rubbery figure. I gues it was more of a rhetorical question about some of the recent claims in the media. I agree, how would we really know....but the CPA seem to think it's a problem.....
Yeldub, good point and I'll pay that one. RBL's (and the Super Surcharge) were monster problems and Labor's 'higher contribution caps for under $500k' proposal is going down that path again.
Although the Libs did remove the limit on pensions and tax for over 60's etc in 2007, if memory serves me correctly.
