Peter Costello found out when they got in, that there was no superfund managed by the commonwealth to pay the massive unfunded PS super bill...
so he set up the special fund, The Future fund, to fund that liaibility....in his time in office, he had accumulated 80 billion in the fund

now I hear, labor is back to its old tricks, they are liable to pay their employees 15% super, but there is still no liability to send the money to a superfund...

so they are not paying the money, they are racking up massive liabilites for future payments....to come out of thin air?

can you imagine....every business in OZ has to actually pay over the employer super to a fund, or incur severe penalties, if it is not paid either monthly, or quarterly
