+++++++++++++++++++++++++ The Company is pleased to announce that high quality fine copper sulphate pentahydrate crystals were produced from the Mt Norma Project late yesterday.
This phase of the commissioning has confirmed the AUM Column Technology to be a significant improvement on Conventional Solvent Extraction Plants due to the high fire risk being totally eliminated combined with low capex, low operating costs and zero organic consumption.
At the completion of the current commissioning phase certain minor mechanical and automatic improvements have been recommended to allow more accurate and finer control to allow a superior quality product and to enable an increase in production.
The production of extremely high quality copper sulphate crystals is in line with all pilot testwork results. The commissioning phase has been extremely positive and exciting for the inventing metallurgist and staff who have overseen the construction and commissioning of the Patented SX Column Technology from test tube to production of such a quality product.
