But the USA is in the same (not as bad) as Australia where each country is highly dependent for the goods that it imports
Fifty years ago if anyone in Australia suggested we would need to import food into Australia they would have been labeled as crazy, but today we do it willingly
Forty years ago I had standing orders from buyers to supply them with any business that could be packed in a crate to send to Asia
Also many business people I knew said they were either taking their business to Asia or selling it to Asia
In the USA it was even worse as the government was paying people to move their business to Mexico
Therefore this clip is just an over simplification of a necessary restoration of what must be done ie bring business back to the country, not to cut it off from the rest of the world
