What an utterly ignorant post. For starters, as a developer our number one priority is to creat SH value. This can come in many forms such as mining the resource but it can also come in the form of selling the ground so to suggest that the delay in commencing mining activity is an indicator of poor performance is entirely misguided.

The strategy of proving up economic ounces for as little as possible is clearly the right approach in this market. With gold in the doldrums and capital not as free flowing as it was a few years ago, the focus is and needs to be growing the resource whist carefully managing cash. More ounces equals more value. Simple.

If you’re not comfortable with this approach, there are many other developers that will fit your criteria of “successful” so I’d suggest your tip your coin into them and let the AUT management team get on their job.
