Fixator, yes I agree the top end of the scale needs some serious trimming as well, Especially the area of Performance Bonuses, 50% of the value of these should be deferred for lets say 5 years, if losses are then incurred due to short term bonus earning strategies, the entire outstanding balance is forfeit.
Some similar workable strategy has to be introduced and enforced, where there is a financial penalty for unsound decisions that result in short term gains and longer term losses.
