The US will give these companies such as Tesla, Harley davidson etc a similar dictum as they gave us last year: Either you are with us (in the US/China economic war) or you are against us.
Apple has already anticipated this by its comproise of manufacturing in the USA and in China for the remainder of Global markets.
IMO at some stage down the line when the going gets tough for the USA, it will bar all multinationals who do truck with China from having access to US markets.
