GM,Ford,Chrysler,Toyota,Honda et al sales dropped more than 37% for February.


Scotty was beamed up long ago as there is no evidence of intelligence in the auto industry.
In spite of declining sales,production continued unabated in order to fill the paddocks with unwanted stock and all of it was probably produce with borrowed funds .
The highly paid executives must have seen the paddocks full of stock but still did little except collect their rewards.
How fortunate they are that there is no "use by" date on their products but since no one wants "new old stock" they may as well use it to make something useful like a marine reef and then they can start all over again having gained useful knowledge from their experiences.
