I'd say less than 100 years. Maybe even less than 50.
The first controlled, sustained, powered heavier-than-air manned flight was made in 1903. Less than 50 years later we had jet powered fighter planes.
We have robots now. With the improvements in AI, who's to say where we will be in 50 years time.
