If anyone buys shares off market via Automic, then Automic automatically create the SRN for you. If you bought them on market (NABTrade, CommSec etc) then Automic require the Chess ID (can’t recall what it’s called) from which they create a new SRN for you…which is what you need to link your shares.

I’d say that anyone showing a zero balance (where you had previously seen a positive balance) needs to get onto Automic pronto. It’ll take up to a week.

IG Markets for instance held ANS shares on their platform. I think IG just move the shares as required, such as a relist.
