“Newman believes there is real opportunity with Nearmap around driverless cars and autonomous vehicles in the future.”

This was mentioned back in April 2017, so it sounds like they understand how their product fits into a use case in the autonomous industry.

It is just that with the product having so MANY uses, I’m sure their sales department is prioritising & chasing down every opportunity as their current resources permit. And we are clearly seeing evidence of their sales resource growth through the many positions being advertised.
