I would not be shocked to see the SP drop... I am not exactly sure how that would happen if the shorters are running for cover...
If the are seeking to close their short positions, they would have to go long... that would push the SP up, not down.
Anyway, in a market that sells on the good news for so many stocks I hold... I don't expect an up day tomorrow at all... bigger picture for me is up.
