Oh I wasnt referencIng the initial post specIfIcally. I am simply replying to the multiple assertions it is ok for one to provide whatever investment advice they like as long as they aren't getting paid for it. If thIs Is the case, someone needs to tell provIders of the masters of fInancIal plannIng as well as the CFA institute, as Ita certaInly not what they teach.
