We can worry ourselves to death on trade wars, economic collapse, and world depression but unless we are going the survivalist route, these dangers apply equally to all our investments.

The EV and grid technologies are going to happen unless there is world war or a giant meteor crashes into earth and destroys everything.
In those cases the money I have in Aussie penny stocks will be the least of my worries.

So as much as we can be sure of anything, cobalt, vanadium and the other battery materials are going to be in demand. On the rest of it, anything can happen.
