Lead items such as scrubbers can be brought second hand but still require to be inspected , integrity tested, dismantled and transported. Autoclaves if there is one available with correct specs ie pressure and temperature rated would still require a lot of bombing (nuclear x-raying of shell including all welds) to get pressure certification. Older claves used in discontinued plants used a much lower pressure and temp that is why for example the Murrin claves are so large compared to Ravo, Goro and Ambatovy. More pressure allows greater temps without flashing off the slurry, which lowers resonance time in autoclave.
