Like I said I have been there done that and know the consequences. Foreign firms must have experience here to see how its done. Our standards in Aust are among the most strict in the world hence why it costs so much more to build plants here than overseas.
I am not saying they could not build plant, it is the IR, Aust Compliance and Aust contractual conditions that are different here to elsewhere. I can give many examples involving Japanese, Chinese, American and British companies that have come up with same problems with builds in Aust.
