You guys do know batteries are used for other things than cars right? As humans we have absolutely raped this planet. A push towards renewables will yield millions of new jobs and in it self will be the catalyst for a new technology boom (already in action as we speak). Say what you want about cars, but for me this is actually about an ethical transition into supporting renewable energies, and the storage of those energies. Enter SKI and AUZ. I'm in the building industry, architecture specifically, and I'm of the opinion that every roof in Australia could have its own solar panel. Heck. It should be mandatory that all new builds have them, not optional as our current legislation provides. We've spent the last 100years destroying our environment. We should spend the next 100 Fixing it. So yes, for me this is an ethical investment as much as it is a monetary one. Please for the love of god don't be so narrow minded.
