Solar, wind mill and tide are renewables but IMO these energy will not suffice our needs ATM. Nuclear actually is much cleaner energy compared with coal and cheaper as well. If some Polly proposes to build a nuclear power plant, see how fast he will be removed. That is the big threat to coal. Also, remember that's Thermo coal only, metallurgical coal will not be affected at all... Last but not least, coal is not that polluting thanks to the new technology. The conversion rate is quite efficient. Anyway, I believe QLD government will have no issue to AUZ as AUZ will not affect their coal business actually AUZ will promote coal as more electricity by coal will be generated for EV.
