I don’t think you’re considering the sequence enough here vintage.
The logic goes ‘we should try to get the annual report out before we complete the deal’ This doesn’t necessarily mean they will rush to complete the AR well in advance because it’s not the most important part of the equation. Completing the deal is the most important part
