Agreed. IMO the wording of the announcement reads as if the dates have been inserted by auz.

SK to auz - "if we don't agree to pay by the end of the month the agreement is terminated or if you don't receive the cheque from us by the end of January the agreement is terminated"

Auz - "OK, we want to get this done so that suits us..."

IMO I doubt if SK would want to apply the pressure to themselves^ - as at the end of this month they can no longer tie up the resource from their competitors for $0 or tell their customers that they had it all sorted(the main reason for any connection existing between these two parties if contrarians among us are correct).

Compounded with the "convenience" of these occurring at ASX quarterly reporting periods - makes a strong case that AUZ have negotiated the dates to back SK into a corner(do you want this or not?) - This should be a contrarians wet dream...
