a saying from decades back (possibly centuries) - but, everytime I hear it (which isn't often these days as it seemed popular in the 50's and 60's but, has since died out with the last generation)
it's what I see in my mind when I hear it that I think is hilarious -

I clearly remember after headplanting in the snow once just how accurate that saying can be
