I think this rise may coincide with the MMX announcement - although no "bulk commodities" mentioned - newspaper reporter suggested coal. Went back to an AVA announcement - they said present resources are sufficient for a 400 MW power station for 30 years, but note - "additional resources will reduce the financing costs of the project". (This is a bn $ project). This may possibly mean they would consider selling extra reserves - and as they are targeting an expansion of reserves in a follow-up of their seismic survey - this could be significant. Also, AVA are looking to participate in other coal projects, yet to be announced. Plus they are seeking a partner to participate in the development.
