I'm emailing you requesting for some etrade pro promotions.

I currently use several brokers, so I do get the full market depth and just execute the trade on IB to save a few dollars each trade. It adds up really, would save me a few thousand bucks compared to comsec rate, and with cheaper interest rate, I can again save a few k by using margin loan instead of home loan.

As for risks involving stocks held under IB name, there are insurance in place up to 150mil. Also I doubt IB can go belly up with their margin system, 50% highest margin and they liquidate you every night if you fall below lol.

The most fascinating thing with IB is that now I can trade arbitrage for stocks such as SSN. It feel great being able to buy cheaper equivalent stocks.
